Acta Marine’s latest fleet addition, the DP1 Multi purpose vessel Coastal Chariot, recently completed a cable lay project in the UK.
The vessel was deployed for the cable lay of various fiber optic cables in shallow waters. The large deck space, combined with its shallow draft and its excellent maneuvering capabilities had proven to be very valuable for the Client.
Maritiem Cluster Friesland delivered yet another DP1 multi purpose support vessel to Acta Marine. Lady sponsor Mrs. E. (Litsa) Kwantes, named the ‘’Coastal Chariot’’ in Rotterdam on February 20th. The new multi-purpose vessel is a sister unit of Coastal Challenger that has been delivered to Acta Marine in 2012. Coastal Chariot will be deployed upon dredging projects, in the oil & gas industry and at offshore windpark construction works.Read more
