Acta Marine Grows, the Works Council Grows Along
Rotterdam, NL – As the term of the current Works Council (OR) comes to an end, Acta Marine is looking for new Works Council members! We are looking for three seafaring and two office employees to represent all Acta Marine’s employees in the Works Council.
This June, Acta Marine Management Services B.V. will hold new Works Council (OR) elections. But what exactly is the Works Council/OR?
The Works Council is a group of employees elected to represent all staff in discussions with management. The Works Council advises on important matters such as organizational changes, working conditions, safety, and overall strategy. It’s a key way for employees to have a voice in shaping the workplace.
We are looking for five members:

2 from the shore-based organization

3 from the fleet
Who can stand for election?
You can become a candidate if you:

Have been employed by Acta Marine Management Services B.V. for at least 3 months at the time of the election (if you have a direct contract with Acta Marine)

Are an agency worker or contractor who has worked with Acta Marine for 15 months and will have at least 18 months of total engagement by election time (with no significant break in between)
