QHSSE Coordinator

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a QHSSE Coordinator who is eager to further strengthen safety, quality, and sustainability across our fleet and offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support crew and office staff in meeting all relevant QHSSE regulations and company standards.
- Review, update, and continuously improve our Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Proactively promote safety and risk awareness by providing guidance and training.
- Provide QHSSE expertise to tenders and projects on all safety and compliance topics.
- Coordinate and perform audits, inspections, and risk assessments, and coordinate timely follow-up.
- Investigate incidents and define effective corrective and preventive measures.
- Maintain QHSSE registers and contribute to reporting and management reviews.
- Act as Deputy Company Security Officer (CSO) and Designated Person Ashore (DPA).
- Support emergency preparedness through drills and exercises.
Job Requirements
- Several years of QHSSE experience, preferably in a maritime or offshore environment.
- Knowledge of, or familiarity with, ISM, ISPS, and MLC requirements as well as ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
- Understanding of relevant national and international HSE legislation.
- Experience with risk management, auditing, and integrated management systems.
- Internal auditor qualification (lead auditor is a plus).
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
- A proactive, structured mindset with attention to detail—and a genuine passion for QHSSE.
Please note: our new QHSSE Coordinator has to have a sufficient understanding of the Dutch language ánd has to be a Dutch resident (to be able to commute to our Rotterdam office).
