Update on Acta Orion

| Reading time 4 minutes

CIG Shipbuilding has been working on the construction of the Acta Orion. After a year of steelwork, piping, cable pulling, isolating and painting at the shipyard, it has left Stettin in Poland.

The ship has transformed to an Acta Marine vessel, wearing the company colors, name and logo. The DP2 vessel – with measurements of 108 meter long and 16 meters wide – offers a huge inside space with luxury cabins including ensuite bathrooms, galley, mess room, offices, cinema and more.

The Acta Orion will undergo the finalization of the construction phase in The Netherlands. Once in Harlingen, the outfitting will be carried on. Here the ship will be dry-docked for a short period, so that the aft thrusters can be installed. The Acta Orion will be delivered during autumn 2015.
