Baydaratskaya Bay Crossing
The Coastal Voyager has been deployed to assist the dredging of a trench for an offshore pipeline in the Baydaratskaya Bay.
After dredging, the trench was filled with previously excavated material. By stabilizing and protecting the pipeline, transport of Russian gas to Western Europe was made possible. The Coastal Voyager executed survey operations during this project. Given the condition of the ice and the navigation, the activities had to be completed within a certain period.
This project had a duration of five months, was completed in November 2014, and consisted of: dredging and survey operations with a moon pool installation.
