Lincs Windfarm export cable burying
The Coastal Worker was operated to locate the joints of an export cable. Subsequently, these joints needed to be reburied at the appropriate depth.
These operations took place at the Lincs wind farm. The client used the Coastal Worker for previous projects and was familiar with the capabilities of this Multipurpose Workboat and its Acta Marine trenching system. This system was used in addition to the Coda Echoscope sonar system, to streamline the localization and reburial of the joints.
This project had a duration of one month, was completed in September 2012, and consisted of: cable burial.
