BritNed project
Several Acta Marine workboats were operated during the construction of a power cable between the Netherlands and England.
Some of the vessels were deployed for a short or longer period in the BritNed project. The Multipurpose Workboat Coastal Worker played a key role in this project. Lida, Coastal Thunder, Coastal Fighter, Coastal Discovery and Coastal Enterprise were also operated during the construction.
This project had a duration of three years, was completed in 2011, and consisted of: cable burial using a jet system, cable reburial, project management and crew transfers.
